A passable knowledge of my new audio interface - check! (finally!)
Live 6 - check!
new mic (JTS NX-8) - check!
new boom-mike stand - check!
new xlr cables (shout out to andy who bought me one new one and has 3 old ones... grrr...) - check!

A buttload of songs - check!

I'm all a-ready to go and it's all set up in a really workable studio set-up. I think I'm gonna' get my hands on a midi-controller for some wandering lap-pop stuff, or maybe just for drum leading tracks (don't worry, I'm not going all electro!).
So! Yes! Yay!
Please do not rob me.
Also, wanted to pimp http://outsidethegame.blogspot.com. It's a really interesting blog - well-written, politically/legally controversial, and utterly riveting. It's hard to explain, so just start at the start (http://outsidethegame.blogspot.com/2008/04/blog-post.html), and go for it (it's not too post-heavy yet). Or don't. Break the rules. It's kind of the point, I guess.
